               Sidomuncul is traditional herbal and pharmaceutical companies using cutting-edge machines in Indonesia. PT. SidoMuncul started from a home industry in 1940, managed by Mrs. Rahkmat Sulistio in Yogyakarta and assisted by three employees. In 1951 established a simple company with the name SidoMuncul which means "Dreams are realized" with the location on Jl. Mlaten Trenggulun with the first product and mainstay, Jamu Tolak Angin. Herbal products made by Mrs. Rakhmat began to get a place in the hearts of the surrounding community and the demand continues to increase. Due to increasing market demand, then in 1984 the factory was moved to the Small Industrial Environment on Jl. Kaligawe, Semarang. To anticipate future progress, it is deemed necessary to build a larger and modern factory unit, then in 1997 the first stone laying of the construction of a new plant in Klepu, Ungaran by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono 10 and witnessed by the Director General of Food and Drug Control at that time, Drs. Wisnu Kaltim. The new factory located in Klepu, Kec. Bergas, Ungaran, with an area of ​​29 ha was inaugurated by the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Indonesia at that time, dr. Achmad Sujudi on November 11, 2000.

Sidomuncul in fulfilling the basic needs of herbal medicine manufacture has its own raw material factory, through its subsidiary PT Semarang Herbal Indo Plant which was established in 2014.
